Stratovarius - Soul Of A Vagabond

Found this long song several years ago and parts reminded me of some of Metallica's...kind of makes your thoughts wander... "Majestically Mindless" is the only phrase I can think of to describe it right now...

Visual Debris

A friend of mine literally has to slap my hand; "Put it down, NOW.", when we're out for a walk...what interesting treaures I find. Do I really NEED that? Yes, like a junky needs a fix. I throw it all in a drawer...and use it later.

Worshipping the Rat King

A conglomeration of magazine images glued together, then drawn.

The Passage of the Planetary Moose

I'd taken this large oil/turpentine painting to a Grad Class--we needed an example of something for an assignment, which led to a 'Socratic Seminar' delving over the painting's 'deep meaning'. Very interesting to listen to all their thoughts--they were especially disappointed to hear that it was originally just a small collage composed from ripped pages of old Nat'l Geographics $ Smithsonians, thus it's appearance on this 'trash' site. Now I must find my large drawing of the collage 'Worshipping the Rat King'!

Online Purchases

Geez-- when you open up blogger in Internet Explorer it looks awful! I use Mozilla at home...then everything is lined up nicely and the text is better. Sorry if this looks bad....

I came across some tshirts that tickled my fancy.
When I started ordering them from this company, they soon became popular as gifts and I try to order them periodically for those that have a weird sense of humor, like me!

Although I haven't liked much of their items lately, you have to be quick (check on Monday's) or they run out of sizes fast.

Check out Threadless' "Loch Ness Imposter", "Communist Party", "You Sank my Battleship" (Teg couldn't wear this while living in Pearl Harbor), "Friendly Narwhal" and "Who F*cking Cares"-- a shirt which my child just happened to be wearing on the day he was unexpectedly interviewed by the KBI. I was mortified!
